Privacy

Do you train on customer files?

No. Never. Your files are used only for the compression you requested.

Our Commitment: No AI Training, Ever

Your files are never used for AI training, machine learning model development, pattern recognition research, or any purpose beyond the compression you explicitly requested.

What We Do With Your Files

  1. Receive — Your file uploads to our servers over encrypted connection
  2. Process — We compress the file using our optimized pipeline
  3. Deliver — You download the compressed result
  4. Delete — Files are automatically removed after 1 hour

That's it. There's no step 5 where we analyze, learn from, or store your content.

Why This Matters

Many cloud services quietly use customer data to train AI models—sometimes disclosed in terms of service, sometimes not. We believe this is wrong:

  • Your files are your property — You're here for compression, not to give us training data
  • Privacy expectations — When you upload a confidential document, you expect it stays confidential
  • Trust is foundational — We can't build a trustworthy service if we secretly use your data

No Third-Party Access

We don't use third-party AI APIs or cloud services to process your files. Everything happens on our own infrastructure:

  • No sending files to OpenAI, Google, or other AI providers
  • No cloud functions that might log or analyze content
  • No "optimization" services that collect training data

Your files never leave our EU-based servers until you download them.

Legal Commitment

This isn't just policy—it's a legal commitment. Our Privacy Policy explicitly states that customer files are never used for AI training or machine learning purposes.

If we ever changed this policy (we won't), we would be required to notify you and obtain explicit consent—which you could refuse.

What About Analytics?

We do collect minimal operational metadata for billing and monitoring (file sizes, processing times, success rates). This metadata is:

  • Anonymous and aggregated
  • Not linked to file content
  • Not used for any AI or ML training
  • Purely operational in nature

See What metadata do you keep? for details.
